The Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company was a brewery in Newark, New Jersey founded by Gottfried Krueger and his uncle, John Laible, in 1858. The company produced Krueger Beer, which was the first beer to be produced in cans on January 24, 1935. In 1961, three years after celebrating their 100th anniversary, the company was sold and the Newark plant closed. This vintage glass Krueger bottle would make an interesting bud vase or a unique piece of shelf decor.
