Part Time Store Coordinator, Bethlehem

The Store Coordinator will be the go-to person for all things Domaci Bethlehem. The primary role of the Coordinator is to develop the Bethlehem team while maintaining the operations of the store. Key responsibilities include the management of a positive, safe and efficient workflow, while supporting guests and team members through hospitality, knowledge and action.

Management Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Leadership to roll out new and existing Domaci initiatives
  • Lead Bethlehem Sales Associates through encouraging, accountability, scheduling and training
  • Provide veteran level assistance to guests and co-workers
  • Understand, support and suggest innovations for best procedural practices
  • Accurately process sales, change orders, exchanges, stock adjustments and returns
  • Manage store supply needs and product inventories
  • Monitor the readiness of sales floor and storage areas, ensuring work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift to support our brand, safety and productivity
  • Investigate inventory variances and operational problems; diagnose and resolve problems affecting inventory, materials and shipments
  • Directs and motivates team members in a positive, productive and respectful manner, ensuring appropriate team work, work focus, safety, productivity and quality.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Maintain a customer-facing presence that is positive, helpful, and inviting
  • Accurately process sales, change orders, exchanges, stock adjustments and returns
  • Demonstrate excellent clienteling skills including capturing customer information at point of sale, following up with clients regarding promotions, new product arrivals etc
  • Develop and continue to build knowledge of all our products, policies, and services
  • Be a problem-solver, seeking opportunities to help everyone who enters Domaci
  • Be able to defuse potentially negative customer situations and provide resolution in a timely and effective manner
  • Understand and embody the Domaci brand in your appearance and service
  • Accurately process sales, change orders, exchanges, or returns
  • Ensure the security and privacy of customer information in all transactions and interactions
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions in order to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals.
  • Efficiently use Macintosh programs, website, inventory, and payment authorization systems
  • Learn and execute the daily required tasks
  • Keep displays fresh, clean, and well-stocked
  • Participate in regular one-on-one, store events, staff meetings and inventories as scheduled

Secondary Functions

  • Optimistically perform all duties as assigned
  • Develops relationships with the community
  • Use communication skills to keep the pulse of the city and local community while completing thoughtful community outreach and engagement

Required Skills

  • Be positive, empathetic, honorable, and self-aware

  • Be an optimistic problem-solver, seeing opportunities to help everyone who enters Domaci
  • Be excellent at effectively managing multiple competing priorities
  • Have a working knowledge of Macintosh and Microsoft Office products
  • Management experience preferred
  • Possess 2+ years working in a retail environment.
  • Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to be on your feet 8+ hours per day
  • Previous experience with POS software preferred
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Prior-experience in retail management, interior design and marketing preferred

30 - 35 Hours Per Week. Nights and Weekends Required.
