Nikolaus Ludwig, Imperial Count von Zinzendorf, was a German religious and social reformer and a bishop of the Moravian Church. On Christmas Eve of 1741, leading a small group of Moravians, he helped found the mission community of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
