Moravian Star Taper Candle Holder, Brass

$ 25.00

The first Moravian star is known to have originated in the 1830s at the Moravian Boys' School in Niesky, Germany, most probably as a geometry lesson or project. Although the star originated in the church's schools as a geometry lesson, it was soon adopted throughout the Moravian Church as an Advent symbol. Moravian stars continue to be popular decorations today, and are no longer confined to just the holidays.

Our Moravian Star Taper Holders, featuring cut glass panels are an excellent and easy way to add a little glitz and glam to your home and make a perfect housewarming gift!

Add on a set of our Flaire Taper Candles or one of our Moravian Beeswax Taper Candles to complete the look.
