Meet our Go-To Designers for Kitchen & Bath: Jarrett Design
•Posted on October 22 2018
When guests come into the shop and ask us whom we'd recommend for kitchen remodeling, we always send them straight to our friends at Jarrett Design in Emmaus. We are thrilled to host this award-winning design firm for our Wine & Design First Friday on November 2nd. Not familiar with Jarrett Design? We'll let them introduce themselves...
Who We Are
We are an award-winning, full-service design firm and specialize in kitchens and bathrooms as well as cabinetry for all areas of the home. The scope of our work includes everything from historic farmhouse renovations to contemporary designs with clean lines and modern finishes. From initial concept to completion, we offer a collaborative design process where we work closely with clients to achieve a design that best maximizes the use and functionality of the space while reflecting the taste and style of our homeowners.
What We Do
When it comes to kitchen and bath design, in particular, designers can be critical to helping clients realize their project goals. We help our clients navigate every stage of the challenging and sometimes overwhelming process of redesigning the space and selecting cabinetry, countertops, flooring, backsplash, lighting, hardware, and paint colors all the while being mindful of space, time and budget constraints. Armed with client input, we generate design ideas and review them as floor plans, elevations, and perspective drawings, which allow clients to visualize the newly-imagined space, making the design and selection process much easier. We supply a vetted list of vendors featuring a wide-range of talented professionals with whom we work and rely so that our clients can make informed decisions. The custom and semi-custom cabinetry we recommend offers our clients the opportunity to have unique, custom-fitted, high-quality cabinets at a great value. Finally, once the desired design is achieved, we work with our cabinetmakers and contractors to ensure every detail has been considered and attended to – start to finish. Our aim is to make this a seamless, exciting, and yes, fun process!
Add Personality to nest with "Nest"
This year we launched “nest,” a signature line of bespoke cabinetry and furniture. Built by local artisans, “nest” pieces are custom fitted for each home and feature reminders of the past, including reclaimed wood, old-fashioned pegged joinery and hand scraped finishes. Often, we look to nest pieces to add that “special” element in the space, like a barn door on a pantry or kitchen island made of reclaimed wood. Nest cabinetry adds personality and offers a wonderful way to distinguish our client’s designs from the rest, ensuring the space is neither generic nor predictable.
