As Seen on 'Fixer Upper'
•Posted on January 02 2016
HGTV's hit show Fixer Upper is by far our favorite show on the home network. Not only is their design esthetic spot-on, but who doesn't fall in love with hosts Chip & Joanna Gaines a little more every time they're on television.
Now three seasons in, episode 4 brought us "The House by the River" in an episode titled River Dream. In the episode, Chip and Jo set out to help a newly-married couple, with a total of seven kids between them, find and renovate a dream spot where the entire family can gather. After a quick search, the couple chose a dilapidated 1990s riverfront home that came alive after crisp blue-green paint for the brick exterior, contrasting wood accents and fresh landscaping were added.
Part of the project included converting the attached garage into a family-bunk room that now provides comfortable accommodations when family members visit.
